REQUIREMENTS FOR A CIVIL OR CHURCH WEDDING IN BELIZE 1. Both parties must have been resident in the country for three calendar days before submitting the wedding license application. 2. A photocopy of the first two pages of passport and page showing arrival date in Belize. 3 .Fully completed marriage license notarized by J.P. 4. If either party has been divorced or widowed, the final divorce decree or a copy of the death certificate is needed.
