Q. Getting to San Pedro?

A. San Pedro Town is located on the island of Ambergris Caye. You will need to make your way to San Pedro in order for us to transfer you up the coast to the estate. We recommend two options; 1) Taking a local flight from the Belize International Airport; 2) Via Tropic Ferry. We are pleased to make these arrangements on your behalf.

Option 1: Local Connector Flights:
The local flight option is the most convenient, comfortable and scenic way to get to the island. Local flights from Belize International Airport (BZE) are designed to correspond with every international flight coming into or departing from Belize. Round trip flights between Belize International Airport and San Pedro are US$145.05 per person. We are pleased to make your arrangements on your behalf. Please email your full name/s and your international itinerary to A confirmation/e-ticket will be emailed to you with arrival instructions.

Please note that we do not assess an additional fee or service charge for booking your flights and the cost will simply be posted to your account for payment upon departure. Flight time is approximately: 15 minutes.

Once you arrive on the island a representative will be there to greet you and take you to our dock in town where our boat captain will transfer you up to our estate located 3 miles north of San Pedro Town, an approximately :10 minute boat ride.

Option 2: Tropic Ferry
Tropic Ferry operates a Meet and Greet service at Belize International Airport (BZE). They will meet you at BZE and drive you a short distance to their dock, for a direct boat trip to our resort dock on Ambergris Caye. The cost is US$85 per person one-way, US$135 per person round trip. The boat trip takes approximately 1-1.5 hours per direction and will include a welcome rum punch or water on the incoming trip, prior to departure for Ambergris Caye.  Tropic Ferry operates 30' and 38' covered and semi-covered speed boats, there is not a bathroom onboard.  Please note, this is not a private charter so you may stop at other resorts along the way and portions of the trip may be bumpy.  Please email your international itinerary and full names to with the subject line “Tropic Ferry Transfer Request” and we will respond with confirmation and instructions.

Q. How do we get from San Pedro Town to the Villas?

A. Once you've arrived in San Pedro Town our representative will be there to meet you at the airport or the water taxi terminal to take you on your complimentary boat ride up to the resort. We ask that you please inform us in advance about your travel plans and when you are arriving on the island so that we will able to meet you accordingly.

Q. How far is the property from San Pedro Town?

A. Belizean Cove Estates is located 3 miles north OUTSIDE of San Pedro Town on the island of Ambergris Caye. The resort is a secluded island getaway north of the island, away from the local scene of San Pedro. It is only accessible via local water taxi or by a sometimes difficult to pass dirt road that winds its way up the north end behind the resort.

Q. Are there any restaurants located within walking distance of the Villas?

A. Yes. Located next door to Belizean Cove Estates is the famous Capricorn Restaurant and Beach Bar. Capricorn offers a variety of selections, including local stone crab claws, fresh catch of the day, lobster, French crepes, filet mignon with red wine and portobello mushroom sauce, and homemade baked breads. The desserts include: rum chocolate cake, carrot cake, and homemade key lime pie. A private chef is also available to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for you in the privacy of your villa.

Q. What's Included?

A. Every guest at Belizean Cove Estates enjoys complimentary arrival and departure transfers from San Pedro Town, and complimentary sea kayaks, and beach cruiser bicycles.

Q. Is a visa required to travel to Belize?

A. All visitors travelling to Belize must travel using a valid passport (non-expired). The passport must be valid for no less than six months after the intended period of stay in Belize.

Citizens of the following countries do not require a visa to enter Belize as a tourist for a period of up to 30 days:

ALL other citizens are required to obtain a visa to visit Belize.

Q. How can I arrange tours or excursions before I travel?

A. Before arriving you can contact our reservations department who will be happy to assist you with arranging any tours you may be interested in. You can contact them by email via or by calling us directly at 1-844-360-1553.

Q. How can I arrange tours or excursions at the Villas?

A. Once at the villas you can visit our onsite tour operator No Worries Tours to book any tours, activities, or excursions you would like to enjoy. The office is conveniently located on our dock at the resort. You can also choose to visit our front desk to assist you with booking your tours and to learn more about the options available.

Q. Can I make reservations for dining or onsite activities before I travel?

A. Yes. Our Front Desk is there to help you with any special requests or arrangements before you arrive. You can contact them by email via or by calling us directly at +011-501-226-4740.

Q. Are there bicycles or golf carts available at the Villas?

A. The property offers complimentary beach cruiser bicycles for all guests. The Front Desk can also assist you in arranging golf carts rentals, however you will need to pick up the golf cart at our local partner office in San Pedro Town. We DO NOT recommend using golf carts as transportation to and from the resorts(especially during the rainy season) not only because of the distance you would need to travel but also because of the condition of the roads on the north side. There is only one dirt pathway leading to and from the resort for you to travel on and at certain times of the year that pathway can become impassable. We recommend using the local public water taxi Coastal Xpress or Tuff E Nuff as a means of travelling between the resort and San Pedro Town.

Q. How do I travel back and forth from the property and San Pedro Town?

A. Both our partner water taxi agency Tuff E Nuff  and our local public water taxi service, Coastal Xpress, provide daily scheduled runs up the coast of Ambergris Caye. We recommend using one of these water taxi service as the preferred means of travelling between the resort and San Pedro Town. Our Front Desk has discounted Coastal Xpress passes and Tuff E Nuff passes for sale at the resort.

Q. Can I drink the water?

A. Rest assured that all the water provided at the resort is drinkable and safe. Water from the taps are filtered and treated and the water available from the refrigerator is double filtered and treated to be consumed safely.

Q. Can the villas accommodate food allergies?

A. You can rest assured that we will work very closely with you and our chef to ensure that the appropriate meals are available. Please provide us with a description of your allergies and the list of precautions necessary and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Q. Are beach towels provided by the Villas?

A. Yes, beach towels are provided by the resort at no extra cost.

Q. Can I get groceries delivered to me at the Villas?

A. Yes, your accommodations may be provisioned with a variety of groceries and beverages of your choice. Please visit Belize Grocery or Mata Grande GroceryPlease note that there is no grocery or convenience store onsite or in walking distance from the resort.

Q. Are there any taxes or fees associated with travelling to Belize?

A. All visitors to Belize are required to pay a departure tax when leaving the country. The cost is US$39.25 per person. However this tax may already by included in your International Flight ticket. Check with the Airlines upon arrival.
